The Portfolio Transfer does not affect the term of the insurance contracts concerned, their policy conditions or the quality of the insurance, which remain in force as agreed. However, the Portfolio Transfer authorises affected clients (policyholders) to terminate the current insurance contract by notice within one month following the date on which they receive an individual notice of the Portfolio Transfer and with an eight days' notice period whereafter the contract terminates.

Due to the Portfolio Transfer, as of the July 1, 2023, the Data Controller of personal data, pursuant to Article 24 of EU Regulation 2016/679, also changes from Cattolica to Generali Italia, without prejudice to the purposes and methods of processing pursuant to the disclosures already delivered. Affected clients (data subjects) may assert their related rights by contacting the Data Controller and, on its behalf, the Data Protection Officer (DPO) of Generali Italia, at e-mail: RPD.it@generali.com, or may lodge a complaint with the the supervisory authority (Italian Data Protection Authority, https://www.garanteprivacy.it).

The Portfolio Transfer has been approved by the competent Italian supervisory authority (Istituto per la vigilanza sulle assicurazioni) and the Czech National Bank has not raised any objections thereto.
